قال شاعر العربية أعشى همدان «يمرون بالدهنا خفافاً عبابهم.. ويرجعونَ من دارين بُجر الحقائب» ميناء دارين الذي كان يعرف بميناء المسك والعنبر، يزدحم بالسفن التي تنقل البضائع والقماش والتوابل من القارة الهندية الى الخليج ومنه إلى مناطق مختلفة من العالم، وكانت السفن تحمل التمر وهي عائدة إلى أوطانها في تجارة عكسية، وعلى شواطئ دارين عرف الصبية مبكراً لون اللؤلؤ الذي كان البحارة الأوائل يستخرجونه من قاع الخليج.

I googled 'Sahl al Matran' and there was another picture of the this station/fort along with the distinct peak in the backround.

They look like they were made with leggos.
