I love it, this photo sums up the Outback! You drive through nothing for hours, anticipating getting to some place...then you arrive and it might be just a handful of buildings. LOL!

It might be Kallymurra Waterhole, which is before you reach Innamincka coming from QUeensland. I still haven't found that log yet, though I've been looking!

This should actually be labelled King's SITE, he didn't actually die here, being the only survivor (!) but this is where the rescue teams found him.

Note that despite the barren-looking country and the 120 degree heat, these Shorthorn/Hereford cattle are FAT. Too fat for sale as lean beef! Also too fat to bother getting off the track promptly...
