Nice shot of Pärnu harbour. Fine, dim, sleepy colours!
There's can be history seen in the background - a freight crane still standing after a peat loading was prohibited in this part of harbour in 2002. It now takes place near the sea- about half a mile to the south.
Whilst the soviet times the quay was equipped with two of those 50 ton cranes. One was dismantled right after it became no use, the other- not been operated last 8 years - still standing

A statue of an Estonian famous writer and poeter J.W. Jannsen, also a founder of local newspaper- Pärnu Postimees (Perno Postimees, originally), meaning The Postman of Pärnu. J.W.Jannsen is also considered as a founder of modern journalism in Estonia. This statue is situated just in front of the Pärnu Postimees office - his legacy.
