You don't know me but I have to thank you for this picture. My late husband and I use to hunt this property (owned by Ms. Starley). Unfortunately they both have passed and her sons no longer allow anyone access. I've spent many days sitting under that very oak tree picnicking with my husband (and whatever fire ants decided to join us).

I found a similar marker on a geocache trip in the Deer Park area.

N 28° 07.669 W 080° 53.787

Geocache is listed at: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC39PTR

We have no idea what it means either but will let you know if we find out. Exact same inscriptions.

Looks like they rearranged the parking for T.M Goodwin WMA - it was reported to me that they moved the sign and improved the parking, so I moved this picture what was reported as the new location.

These are burrows made by the exotic sailfin catfish, Pterygoplichthys disjunctivus. Very probable negative impact due to increased bank erosion and increased Total Suspended Solids downstream. Plus many wading birds are wasting valuable time and energy capturing this species, as they are often too difficult to swallow, similar to the brown hoplo, Hoplosternum littorale.

This picture was taken on SJRWMD property - someone suggested it might be Mormon Land - I respect Mormon land and only enter it with permission!

This is a small single cemetery area located in the Pachaug State Forest. Thomas Wilcox is the name on the headstone, he was born on Aug 5, 1857 - dieing at the age of 58. I have elected not to give the exact coords of the cemetery to just save it a little activity. If you would like the coords for research, send me an email.......Tom

I think if you'll check with Bob Carrigan, of Carrigan Realty in Bithlo he will know. I think it's a walkway from an ole hunting camp, of his many, many years ago

We used a small boat and entered a canal to the area from N28 13.041 W080 51.426 off the St Johns River. Any other access would force you to cross Deseret Ranch land I believe - not recommended!
