I have been lucky enough to venture around many different areas, taking many pictures. All my photos are uploaded for only one purpose, to show others what is out there. I hope many of you will be encouraged to see what I have seen. Visit my website (www.tomchoma.com) if you want to read more about the Florida areas I have been to, as well as helpful hiking and GPS information. You also will find many of the areas I've visited at the Wikiloc website (http://www.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/spatialArtifacts.do) I always carry a plastic bag with me to pickup trash - even at my best I have been known to drop something by accident - hopefully someone is picking up my mistakes as I do theirs. Please "take nothing but photos and leave nothing but footprints".

I helped build and repair it in the 70's it is old now.. spent many nights and thunderstorms in it..

Looks like they gave this shelter a facelift sometime during the past couple of years! http://www.panoramio.com/photo/116361889

Tom- are there any crossing structures or other ways to go across in the river lakes conservation area? somewhere along the arlington river?

State road right of way markers. Why they are there who knows.

This is called '7 lakes' or 'Black Hole' by the locals

BEAUTIFUL BEACH WE CALL IT PINE ISLAND

Reading a book on the area and viewing some maps provided by Boonieman it seems that this might be "Mizell Crosing" where Sheriff David Mizell was shot and killed after being ambushed? If it is it has a very colorful history as one of the few places used regularly to cross Bull Creek. Read more: http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/1999-02-14/news/99021306131barber-moses-mizell
