the information given is not correct, Cortes Pereiras it´s near Alcoutim not near São Martinho / Faro

Não se trata da entrada para Cortes Pereiras, mas sim do entrocamento para o monte do Vascão. A estrada que segue em frente leva-nos a Alcoutim, as entradas na povoação são mais à frente.

These bath houses aren't very old but seem to have been vandalized at some point, maybe during the revolution in 1974. There is a small bathhouse still in operation taking advantage of the natural sulphurous springs. The area is undergoing a major renovation but the ruins will apparently stay. This is pretty much out in the middle of nowhere, but along a major highway.
