Used to be a public toilet and was nick-named the Taj Mahal

The 'P'-class is New Zealand's secret weapon for sailing. A boat designed for kids that is difficult to sail.

Cool composition, with nice distance compression from the telephoto lens. Also has road signs including aircraft warning and a tunnel, not too many places you could get those into a surfing photo!

John Plimmer (1812-1905) arrived in Wellington on "Gertrude" on 31 Oct 1841. The Plimmer steps, off Lambton Quay, are named after him. In his final years he was honoured as the "Father of Wellington" by the citizens of the city to which he had devoted his life. He was often seen on Lambton Quay walking his dog "Fritz"
