Very nice photo Like ❗ Yoshio Kohara 小原善郎
I could do with someone like you out and about with me, Jorge. I agree, it is much more likely to be Aeshna mixta, and definitely female. I have to say that I saw lots of these late dragonflies in Norway, and they were easy to photograph because they were so still on windless days.
I will rename it now. Thank you for your visit and amazing knowledge!
Just happened to be viewing photo's and noticed that my boat was in the picture! I have owned this Aquasport boat for 33 years. Bought it new in Miami in 1982. I fish in Flamingo every year in April with two of my friends that I grew up with. I have been fishing and camping in the Flamingo area since mid 70's.
I don't know when this was repainted and turned into a seafood cafe, Joe, but it must have been in the last couple of years. I often think of deleting these photos taken with a very cheap pocket camera that was given to me when I left work to go to Norway, but then I wouldn't be able to see the changes! I'm so pleased that you liked the boats and the wee boat-sheds. :)
I am sure it would increase the popularity of Youtube, Amelia. LOL. Cheers, Joe
Lovely place and great photo.
Hello Mira! A very beautiful view at the skyline of Vancouver, Canada! I like the framing of this image with the autumn colored tree branch! Like and Fav.! Many friendly greetings and very best wishes! Anton Trötscher
