'Looks like some roads I have traveled many a time! Nice shot!
Wow! What great old building you have found. Do you know the history on this one?
What a fabulous place! I love it. How old is this area? Do you know?
We plan on coming over to my inlaws in Biloxi for Thanksgiving this year and probably head over to Pirate's Cove on Saturday for some po'boys!
Hurricane Katrina destroyed parts of the bridge connecting Bay Saint Louis to Pass Christian and the State of Mississippi got a ferry operation underway to shuttle vehicles from the two sides of the bay soon thereafter. The ferry service continued until a passable bridge was reconstructed. It was free to whomever desired to use it and ran from early in the morning to usually past sundown.
I enjoyed going to many Saints games as a kid in the mid- to late-70's in the Superdome. I'm still a diehard Saints fan now living in Florida amidst a majority of Jaguars, Bucs, Falcons and Dolphin fans. But based on seeing jerseys, license plates, t-shirts, etc. there are some of us Saints fans around here, too. GEAUX SAINTS!
Katrina pretty much ripped Sharkheads to shreds.
