Mr. Ly, I worked for you in 82. We had a Christmas party at your home and I was so taken with the beauty of the property. It's still sad to know the coastline has been ever changed by Katrina, even now. No longer in MS, but I hold the memories of my experience there, along with you and your family, very dear. The water is a beautiful green color and is quite clear. My camera couldn't do the water's beauty justice. I plan on going back when it's cooler and see if I can get better photos.

Hi, this is a picture of the original USGS gage house that was used to monitor the flow and water level of the river. Original USGS gage houses were constructed like this before the smaller aluminum box-type shelters were used (such as the one at the end of the old bridge now). This original structure has been removed and is no longer there.
