According to the USGS topo map for this area, there are small remnants of ancient glaciers under the snowfields in these cirques.

Impresionante vista aérea. Gracias por indicar el video.

Greetings from France, Jean-Louis

The Zuma quad chair and the Montezuma Bowl that opened in 2008 -- the skiing here is spectacular, as are the views.

Looking south into Arapahoe Basin from the summit of Loveland Pass. Arapahoe Basin is named for the Arapahoe tribe that hunted in this area for millenia before trappers explored the area in the 18th century.

View from the top of the Montezuma Bowl looking southwest. Independence Mountain (12,615') and its North American Bowl are in the foreground. Behnd it at right is the north peak at Keystone ski area. Above it are the four peaks at Breckenridge ski area (from left, Peaks 10, 9, 8, and 7). The tallest mountain on the left horizon is fourteener Quandary Peak (14,265').

Sadly, this area landmark on the Colorado River was destroyed by a human-started fire in April of 2008.
