I once innocently referred to a Chinese friend of mine as a Chinaman and he was highly offended. It seems the term is no longer politically correct for reasons that don't make sense to me. Maybe they should call it "The Island of the Historic Head Covering of a Male Person of Chinese Heritage." I'd run that by my Chinese friend and see if it flys, but he's still upset with me.

Right location for the shot, but I believe you've got the wrong title/name.. this is the not the Kilauea Valley.

I think the off-shore hurricane pushed a lot of water into the pond and really whipped the foam. It was very interesting to see the pond so full of water that the rock walls could not be seen.

Love the view, and the use of wind power.

I have no idea about LOST, this is a good family cafe in Pahoa.

Good shot of the falls. The canyon has no words to describe how I feel about looking at it -- whether in person or at photos of it.
