This photograph really brought back fond childhood memories. I was brought up in Richmond, and later in Ham. We spend many wonderful summer hours along the Thames, especially around the Locks. We also took the (rowed) ferry across to 'Teddington open air swimming pool.' Of course this was in the 1950's way before the footbridge. I moved to Canada years ago. Thanks for the memories.

Well! I had never heard of this castle until now!! I am ashamed to admit that I know so little of my own country.
Being very fond of old ruins I will not be in a hurry to forget this superb photo. Thanks for sharing!
