I saw your comment about Pension Sofi and here was my reply.
We stayed there in July of Last year. The place is well run and is spotlesly clean. There was a bathroom in our room with air conditioning. The owner will bring greek coffee and pastry in the morning. It is close to the downtown area (about 10 minutes walking distance) and near a bus stop that will take you all over the islands to the major beaches. From our balcony we could see the Castro in the center of the town. Well worth the asking price (forgot what is was). Louis Larocque

Called the Iron Horse Trail, it's a great multi-use trail. Paved, it runs from Caroline St. in uptown Waterloo, to Sydney St. in the SE of Kitchener.
