Right-hand there is the city gate, called Arch of Modestus. It's hight is 10 m and length 19 m.

Patara, Lycia: Granarium
The granary (Latin: Granarium) is located on the west side of Patara port.
In foreground you see, silty and overgrown with reeds since ancient world, the natural harbor of Patara.
Lycians had to load grain from rank Lycia on roman ships, which sailed it to Rome.
Measures of two storied granary are approximately 73 x 19 meters.
Walls between divide the building into 8 chambers. It was used as temporary storage, before grain was loaded on ships.
