I've been taking photos for pleasure about 35 years. I loved my Nikon SLR and used slide film exclusively, but converted to digital in 2004. The great symphony conductor Herbert von Karajan said about digital recording "Everything else is gaslight," and I agree. I hope you enjoy the photos and their subjects.

Lovely colours. I planned my holiday last year to co-incide with the colours in Central park and Canada. After a month in Canada/Alaska we got to NY on Oct 1, and couldn't wait to get to the park. Got there and there wasn't even ONE tree that had started to change colour! Need less to say we (I), was extremely dissapointed. Not happy. Just have to try and get back there in a couple of years or so. Cheers Ivan

Amazing picture! Just wanted to clarify for anyone checking this out who is interested in visiting Nevada City- I'm guessing this shot was taken in the early 1980s. The buildings are all still here but they look a bit different now!
