Loaded with our camping gear and enough food for 10 people for four days the boats were very stable.

It had rained and rained and rained for all of the morning. A couple of times we had had to stop and bail the canoe out. This was one of those rare grab a photo breaks in the precipitation!¬

We spent an afternoon and evening looking for otters. There were plenty of beaver damns to pass over. We eventually saw some otters and we watched them play in the early evening sunshine before they moved off to go hunting.

Another day another lunch break; a hard day on the river!
