A late "thank you" Annamaria Botto for the kind words. :)
Thank you Dana for the nice comments. There had been little rain and snowmelt to muddy the water when this was taken. See some of my most recent posts to see the river in a different color. :)
Best regards from Virginia,
Tom

Bruce - I am speechless my friend. How do I respond to such kind words. All I can say is "Thank you my friend". Very rewarding for me to hear such responses. :)
Have a great and safe New Years,
Tom

Thank you very much, Tom. Everyone was home and we had a wonderful Christmas, although my daughter had to fly to St. Louis on Sunday and that was a horror show, as you can imagine. I hope you have a wonderful year in 2010 and keep posting your fabulous shots we all love. (Driving through Va in the new year and I'll think of you)

Well Steve the D3000 would be the least expensive NEW dslr. A used D40 would be cheaper with less megapixels(same sensor as was used in the image above). It really depends upon your budget. If you can afford a few more pounds then I'd go with a new D90 that would add video as well. Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions. Also please check out my website at www.tomlussierphotography.com. You can contact me there as well.
All the best, Tom
