Dear Nick, Yes I heard that these buildings had been burnt down. Very sad, they were a great feature of Maclean. Pity they can't be restored but I guess the damage was too great. I will leave the pictures on Panoramio to show what was. Good wishes, Nwil

Thank you Snowy. I'm no fisherman but the beauty of these Lochs is breathtaking. We were at Loch Lubnaig on a still morning and the reflections were perfect. I live in Australia but lived in Edinburgh for about 18 months and drove to many wonderful Scottish locations. Good fishing! Neil
