These pictographs are a tourist draw and a moneymaker for the locals. Isn't it amazing how these ancient drawings made from organic dyes by primitive indians lasted for hundreds or thousands of years exposed to heavy weathering and the elements? They look great! And Sherwin Williams can't figure out how to keep paint on my house for two years. Hmmmmmmmmm.....

Un des grands scandales de Louxor. J'ai vu de pauvres bêtes (ânes) tirer des charges supérieures à 4 tonnes (soit 80 sacs de ciment ... j'ai arrêté de compter à ce moment-là) ! Et, la plupart des "conducteurs" n'ont aucun respect pour leur animal : les coups de bâton pleuvent pour un oui ou un non.
