I spent every summer here at Stoney Lake from 1965 - 1996. We had a cottage down the hill from the Stoney Lake Luthern Bible Camp that was owned by the Moulder's. I loved this place and everytime I hear or see a reference to Stoney Lake, I have such a desire to be back here fishing, swimming, boating, hanging out at the one bar in town. God, I wanna go there right now! (grin) Great pics Eric! Thanks for taking them and posting them here! Does anyone remember the Puppet Shows that they used to do on the weekends next to the Stoney Lake Store? (hehe) I do! This place is a little part of Heaven on earth. Mr. Peterson from the TV show, "Cheers", even has a place here on the lake! Awesome place and a wonderful part of my past. I truly miss this place now that I'm all grown up and old! (haha) I miss ya Stoney Lake! You will always be a part of me! Cya, BN

Eric,
How do you like that marina? How many wet slips are there? Thanks and nice pictures.

I have just been told this is a view of "Hunter's Point", which apparently is northwest of Copper Harbor. It's taken from Brockway Mountain.
