i spent many happy summers as a toddler, to young adult having fun around here, it looked different back then though, there was no grass mound around it anyway. i used to come up here in the seventies to skateboard and later roller skate, it was really popular back in those days. though as we all know, clapham common has a more sinister side and back in those days it was definite no no to go there at night, local gangs would meet up here regularly at night for the traditional punch ups, and it was also a popular place for muggings and even the odd murder here and there. absolutely love this place, and it really does bring memories flooding back, also quite interestingly there were regular sunday concert up here to, but i think that came to an end in the 80's, maybe nowadays it is being used again?

did you know that the barge in the front belongs to Bear Grylls?

Station where the Brazilian Jean Charles de Menezes was cowardly murdered by British police and no one was punished for it(2).

...just read your note that you give permission for people to use the photos so long as they credit you...I will do this. Thank you.

That looks like Katherine Rd. The old sweet factory TREBOR is ROBERT spelt backwards, anyone know what the significance of that is? Thank you Pema for a nice pic... Pete
