It had never snowed in Addis as far as I know and hope will not (for the sake of the poor). This shot was taken after a hail storm which caused damage to some fences and unfortunates roofs. Because of the severity of the storm the ice pellets accumulated and seemed as if it snowed for a while. The ice will only last for a couple of hours before it melts and disappear.
