My grandmother was born in this building in the late 1800s. She moved to USA when young. She lived in Iowa amongst many many other Ostfrieslanders from this area. She was baptised in the church behind the left shoulder of the photographer. Some other of our relations live about 15 meters to the right of the photographer. I now live in USA but have visited this site several times including before the recent rennovation of the Brauerei.

das Bild der Mühle ist zwar richtig platziert, ist aber nicht die Mühle Spetzerfehn, sondern die Mühle in Ostgroßefehn.
