This is actually a monument on the AUSTRIAN side of the border at the Bridge at Andau. It merely represents a watch tower and is purely symbolic. The little bridge, over the Einser Canal, is where more than 70,000 Hungarians escaped to the west in 1956. The position on the map is incorrect, but for some reason Panoramio will not allow me to mark the correct position.
