Thank you for the compliments, raymundamores. Though I can only add, "How I wished I took this shot." For I did not. I could however, try the same composition with my own camera in my next visit to Dumaguete City. This picture was taken in the late 40's or the early 50's. It is one among a few vintage images of Silliman University, that I have in my collection. I post it so I could share it with everyone. I am sure it brings back nostalgic memories to the many who love the City.
I appreciate both of your concerns. I believe what Badjojo wants to emphasize is that the barbed wire seems to create attention or may represent as barricade as in some detention centers or yards for prisoners. Badjojo may have suggested to have it edited taking the barbed wire out or perhaps, post another view of the building if possible.
Joealley, i am grateful to hear from you that you are proud to have such school in the City of Dumaguete. Truly, the school is suitable for students who deserves better education especially to those underprivileged and whos parents income falls to poverty level. I myself was able to finish Bachelors Degree in Architecture while I'm working on a part time job in an Architectural Designing Firm.

Thank you for the comment and information. For your knowledge, i took this photo for my local community development project when i was still studying Architecture. I post it in to at least i can share it to others.
Also, we used to buy "Bibao" in Nebrida's house. And I think they used to live somewhere in meciano road or colon street before. Hehehe.
Anyway, I hope you appreciate it.
