This view is in Grassington, you've placed it in a field?

You can't beat Scotland for a good snap Wilfried

Hi, the one painted white in the distance is not a cairn as such, it is the Jubilee Monument. A few feet past the monument is an inscribed stone on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of King George V dated May 6 1935. But there are - according to the OS map - two cairns, not far away, as per the one pictured.

Having read replies from other hard working souls, I can understand why your paltry offers are refused outright. My advice to Andrew Potts is stop insulting people and find something better to do with your life.

Halifax. Near the station. Trial with ipod touch and HDR app.

Nice photograph David.

Colonel and Mrs John Harrison lived at Kirkby Malham in the Yorkshire Dales in the 19th century. The two were separated for long periods due to the Colonel’s frequent overseas service, with the result that his wife Helen decided that as water had separated them for much of their married life, so it should in death. So she arranged for their burial plot to be situated in a corner of the old churchyard at Kirby Malham where a small stream runs. This stream would separate the double plot. Helen died in 1890 and she was buried on the south side of the stream. John died in 1900 and when the gravedigger attempted to dig the grave in the other plot on the north bank, he hit impenetrable rock. The result was that John had to be buried with his wife and so they were in fact united. The stream still runs through the plot which is marked by a stone kerb and a very fine marble cross.

Would you kindly allow me to copy this photograph to my Church Stories Group please?

The police want to know who you are ? They imply you may know more than you should ... are you an arsonist?

A lovely photo. Regards Tim.

Nice composition. Interesting steps.

Hi David:

Whoever trim this shurbbery, like Empowereddragoness, will make a good barber.

Greetings, from John
