Another nostalgic moment- I spent my honeymoon here in 1986 and my second honeymoon (same wife!) in 2006 "We first went to Jersey in 1986 and we've been coming back regular as clockwork every 20 years".
Fo info, the tower is a 19th century folly, with an upper story added by the Germans to use as an observation tower and control position for coastal batteries. It is now restored as a cosy holiday let for two people. The bedroom, in the top floor, has the old German ranging marks preserved on the ceiling and walls, and an almost 360degree view through slit windows.
