You are incorrect. Air Force One is not a certain airplane, or type of airplane. Whatever airplane the President of the United States is on, that airplane is called Air Force One. It could be a Lear Jet, a Gulfstream,757 or any other airplane in the Presidential fleet. President Bush was on the B-757 in this picture. When the President is not on board, the airplane flies as "SAM" (special air mission)and the tail number. Air Force Two is the designation for when the Vice President is on board an airplane.
