I live in the northern part of Utah, which state is home to FIVE National Parks, plus there are two within 4 hours drive time to the north. I feel spoiled since I am surrounded by so much incredible scenery along with the mighty Wasatch Mountain range and the nearby High Uinta Mountains (fishing, hiking, backpacking, photography) all at my finger tips. I hope you enjoy browsing my photos and 'drink in' the various landscapes and scenes which I have been blessed to witness and capture. I would invite you to go to my website: photographyoutdoors.com, and send me a message on my guestbook. I would love to hear from you!!!

Another Beautiful Landscape!!

Magnificent landscape. Excellent photo. Perfect taken. Regards, Maria

Amazing shot. You have a great gallery. I will came back. Best wishes, Maria

I too enjoy so much seeing different views of the Uintas. Most of my shots are taken on family camping/hinking trips. So many great memoris come from these trips with my dad and extended family. I look to your collection for new places I'd like to visit and also different perspectives of places I've been. You do a great job of capturing the natural beauty.

Nice landscape shot!

Incredible viewpoint! Yet another area I have added to my list of places to visit in the Uintas this summer. It appears your love for these mountains is similar to mine. My parents introduced me to the Uintas when I was very young and I have enjoyed them ever since. Truly a great range of peaks and wilderness. Thanks for sharing. Kevin at photographyoutdoors.com

I always enjoy seeing photos taken by other hiking enthusiasts, especially from those taken in the Uinta Mountains. The area is so vast that one could not see it all in a lifetime so it is great to see a different perspective on a equally shared subject. I haven't been to Dean Lake since I went backpacking with my Dad a number of years ago, so perhaps its time to see this area once again. The tree in this shot reminds me of one that is similar at Ruth Lake along the northern shore. Can't wait for summer! Thanks for sharing. Kevin @ photographyoutdoors.com

Very photogenic. I love to see others photos of this area. Ryder Lake is one of my favorites! Thanks for sharing.

Certainly a memory never to forget.....especially on impact! Brrrrrrr. My brother and I plunged into a small lake in the Middle Basin area one year when it was quite warm for the Uintas. This little lake was located next to a talus slope that still contained snow which was melting into it. Now I know what people mean when they say its like knives sticking into you. We couldn't get out fast enough.
