Hi there again, I am just trying to confirm whether you had given me the Ok to use some of your photographs for my travel guide, sorry to ask again but I cannot find the confirmation letter and I was almost sure you did give me permission.
The Kranshoek hike goes through natural forest right down to a pebble beach. You can then choose between a steep, short walk up to the parking lot, or a much longer gentler walk.
You can see Salt River after walking along the coast from Nature's Valley. Make sure you check your tides though, as the walk along the coast can get dangerous at high tide.

The bird life along this section of the Bitou River is really good.
The rocks can be tricky when wet. Make sure you don't try the walk at high tide.

The Kranshoek hike is about 9 km long. It is fairly strenuous, but offers stunning views.
