The photo is of the Grand River as it connects with Lake Michigan at Grand Haven, Michigan. Like Beachbum and FoxFurry said, it's not anywhere near Seal Beach, Ca.
I worked as a groom the first season that place was open. I was 18 years old and out there from Texas messing around.
It's a weather station.
These are pics from the 1986 film " Ruthless People " starring Danny DeVito, Bette Midler, Judge Reinhold, and Helen Slater, with Bill Pullman in a supporting role in his film debut. It is the story of a couple who kidnap their ex-boss's wife to get revenge and extort money from him. They soon realize he does not want her back and was planning to kill her himself. Meanwhile the boss's mistress plans a blackmail attempt on him which also does not go as planned.
It's the latter: the store is torn down and has been made into a park. The house behind the store is still there and can be briefly seen.
so....pornographic movies with great scenery?? i don't believe it. one could make porno movies in a warehouse or tract home- what would be the attraction to make opne here? people don't advertise where such movies are made; i would think you have to be involved in some way since have knowledge of it.....
This is actually a majorette for the San Diego State University team(s) the Aztecs. More importantly its a replica of part of the sign for the old Campus Drive-In theater that used to be at College Ave and El Cajon blvd. There was quite an outcry when the theater was torn down so this sign is an homage to it. Here is an article with more information. http://www.sandiegoreader.com/weblogs/bands/2008/aug/01/drive-in-theaters-in-san-diego-complete-illustrate/

I used to work there. I must have gained 30 pounds from the free french fries and soda I drank not to mention the burgers.
