Excellent shot. I missed it because I was on Lord Howe in September and the Mount Eliza Trail was closed as the sooty tern birds were nesting there. Wonderful island.

Some very good hiking begins at the far end of this beach, over the ridge to North Bay and up to Kims Lookout on the way to Malabar Hill.

I saw a medium-sized shark while snorkeling in shoulder-deep water off this beach. Needless to say, I exited right away. I'm told the sharks seen during the day are not dangerous but I was the only one snorkeling at the time and didn't want to take a chance.

The Qantas Link flights to Lore Howe Island are not 100% reliable and can be cancelled on short notice due to the weather or mechanical difficulties. When leaving Lord Howe, do not plan too close a connection on the mainland.

Enough for a background, but I will need to find the image. What size do you want?

Very beautiful photo! Like & Fav.

Greetings, Dmitry

Thank you, the light was special that afternoon.

Thank you Diego, I was testing a new tilt shift lens!

Thank you for the feedback.
