This is Albany view spelled accurately. Due to "Albany Hill" the town of El Cerrito is thus named. In the photo one can see the mudflats where the City limits of Richmond and Albany touch. The visible structure is Golden Gate Fields, a horse race facility, and the structure is the restaurant, grandstand area. The linear green line is the "Albany" bulb the former Albany city dump which filled in some of the S.F.Bay as did the former dumps in Alamada, Oakland, Emeryville, Berkeley, etc. The large green area behind the race track grandstand is the former Berkeley dump, now open fields as a park to a large extent. Trees in park hide a glimpse of the Berkeley marina and harbor.

Nice picture, but the caption is misleading since it was not taken from the top of Mt Shasta, or anywhere near the top.
