Thanks for the notes. I disagree about high tide though - the sea covers up the magnificent Plymouth Limestone foreshore, with its fossil sponges and corals - and of course, colourful kayaks.

This was the Royal Navy Type 22 (Batch 3) frigate, HMS Chatham (F87). Decommissioned 2011 and scrapped 2013.
This is a noise baffle for jet engine running.
