The location you've selected is what's known locally as the "sewers". It's man made pond used for sewage treatment. It's also fenced off and at least 20 feet of trees and brush have been cleared around it.
What's known as Lac Fort Coulonge is actually an area where the Ottawa River becomes wider, between Davidson and Waltham.
