On this photo the canon looks like a sad trunk of an elephant. Today the canon points at the sea that it was aimed to protect from intruders. Please look at recent photos and you will understand what I mean.
Dear Bonazera, Koh Bubu is great for a very quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of Koh Lanta's resorts. Bungalows are available, but they looked rather basic to me. And despite nature and the bungalows there's nothing else on the island. If you're looking for a peaceful and tranquil getaway and don't mind cutting back on western amenities, go for it. Otherwise make it a (half-)day trip to Bubu, which should be available at almost any tour desk and travel agency at Koh Lanta. I used "Sun Fishing & Island Tours" to get there, which I can strongly recommend.

Si on laisse aux yeux le temps d'apprivoiser l'obscurité, ce ciel avec sa traînée de poudre enflammée au-dessus de ce lac ridé comme de coulées de lave, nous entraine en sa magie.
Et je me suis senti reposé en regardant ces feux mariés l'espace d'un moment. merci pour ce cadeau!
