This dwelling was once known as "The Overseer's Cottage". In the late 1920's it became known as "The Cottage". The overseer at that time had taken up residence in the main homestead. Later, in the late 1930's or early 1940's, it was renamed by the Molly Taylor as "Daffodil Cottage" and has retained that name to this date (2011).
As a child, I lived in this cottage from 1928 until 1936 with my parents.

was taken back in 1985 , rd was in good condition and fair bit of use by rail service and locals, maybe a dozen cars, in 3 weeks lol
