Thanks for putting this nice photo up, Carlton. This tree has a name - "The Candler Oak", and it is a "Live Oak" , i.e., Quercus virginiana. It is over 300 hundred years old, and just over six feet in diameter. Thanks again.
Today the Husband-Hanchett-Tiffany House, located at 28 Port Sheldon, serves as the Jenison Historical Museum. It has been restored and furnished with period furniture along with displays of Jenison History

The actual location for Lambert's is about 10 miles up the road at Ozark, MO. You can find Lambert's at 37° 4' 9.87" N 93° 13' 30.41" W
