Killhope Lead Mining Centre on the A689 between Nenthead and Cowshill. It features a large waterwheel which once drove machinery used to extract lead from it's ore.

Once part of the A69 between Newcastle and Carlisle, this section has now been bypassed.
A stone circle easily visible from the road. Looks neolithic but it's modern.
