Living in Glasgow I enjoy taking photos of places I visit. My photos feature in SEPA Scottish Bathing Waters reports, ACTS Newsletters, the cover of Scottish Journal for Residential Child Care, the cover of a book about Glasgow and as furniture fabric patterns.

Hi Amelia,

I use an Olympus SP550UZ 7 Megapixel camera. It was top spec when I bought it a few years ago, but it would now be considered very much mid-range. It is the size of a large compact, so is easy to carry round. It has a 18x zoom and a large diameter lens. It works extremely well in good light, but not so well in poor light or indoors. It is difficult to focus at full zoom and the manual focus is difficult to use and not entirely satisfactory.

You had the advantage of good weather when you were in Prague, which you have used well. For me it was overcast a lot of the time.

I hope to go back to Prague again some time. Hopefully the weather will be better and I may even have upgraded my camera by then.

Oh! I'm so pleased that you are still posting. I must have been looking at a set of pages that you took some time ago. I shall be wandering through your gallery from time to time without any doubt!

I was brought up in the Kingdom, and that was why I was looking at the Fife pages :)
