I had a visitor from the US in Glasgow for a week and he had never been outside Glasgow or Edinburgh. The weather last Friday was excellent so we set off to the North West Highlands, not knowing exactly where we would end up. In the end we took a boat trip to Inversnaid wehere we had lunch and then visited Inverary in the afternoon. A great day out which we both enjoyed thoroughly.

My photos have found many uses: e.g. the Scottish Environment Protection Agency 2008 and 2009 Scottish Bathing Waters reports, the Association of Chartered Teachers Scotland 2010 Newsletter and the cover of a special issue of the Scottish Journal for Residential Child Care 2010. I provided the cover photo for a historical book by Andy Bell about the Temple area of Glasgow. One has been used as a furniture fabric pattern.
