A monument to the Green future at Cream O' Galloway.
Thanks, Wilma, for the various suggestions to relocate my photos. The mapping available when I originally located the photos was rather poor resolution, so your suggestions are very welcome.
We are planning to visit again next summer.
Cheers, Douglas

That is high praise, Nikos, and gives me great encouragement. Thank you. It is a joy to share Fraser Island with the world.

Hi Cathi,
In addition to being famous as the home of Golf, St Andrews is a historic town with the oldest University in Scotland (and the 3rd oldest in the English speaking world) dating from 1413. It is one of the oldest Christian centres in Scotland and the Bishop of Alba had his seat here in 906 AD. The castle is also connected to religion as it was originally the Bishop's palace.
My own family come from other parts of Scotland and my own connections are only through work and travel.
