Deze foto is genomen op 2 juni 2006, de dag dat er voor het laatst treinen op de Hofpleinlijn reden. Als afscheid werden oude treinen ingezet. Normaal reden nooit dieseltreinen op deze lijn, maar wél op de laatste dag. Helaas was dit treinstel al na een ritje stuk en kwam er een moderne elektrische trein voor in de plaats.

It is with interest that I look at your photo's of this engine round house .
My father was aprisoner of wat at the Gustrow Head Camp ( which where at the light plane air fields) they had to walk from there to tone or the other of the round houses as I do not know the dates that each was built.
If you habe any more or can get me some of the other round house that is if you live in the area.
My father was a prisoner there between 1917 to 1918.

A modelrailway club is bilding the thamshavnbanen in scale and gift it the name Orkshavnbanen .
That name is stil in my memory.
