Glad you like it. I use a Panasonic FZ-20 - had it for years and it serves me well. This was 3 photos taken, stiched and cropped. Gives a distorted fish-eye effect of the beach. It's a much more gentle curve than that. Headland to the left, Hauturu (locals call it Clarke) Island to the right.

Brilliant photo! It really sums up the charms of Whangamata.
