Matthew D Rogerson's conversations

Whoa, a revolt broke out! I do apologise... As my "friend" FIech said yesterday "ignorance is bliss". I live in Sardinia and I've never seen sea coal on the coasts of this island. In my former opinion, wherever I cannot take a swim, I consider it a polluted coast. But now I see that it's an absolutely natural phenomenon. After all, you will agree with me that you cannot take a swim there!

Dear DaveH382, I do not check my panoramio photo everyday. I'd change my opinion many months ago, if I'd read your comments before.

Good swim to everyone!

This bustling and colourful shot harks back to the days when Hartlepool was one of the busiest ports in the country ( third, behind London and Liverpool) With it's ship building days gone, the town still has excellent facilities for maritime industry and transportation, as witnessed here.

Eh? This photo was taken in the docks at Genova, Italy. This replica Galleon was used in Roman Polanskies film 'Pirates'.
