Such a beautiful symmetry! Great photo! Like - My best wishes.

This is a lovely little park which typifies this most beautiful of areas; it is off the usual seaside path and used by locals. A small putting course together with an ice cream hut and plenty of seat combine to ensure a happy and peaceful place to unwind and watch the worls - and ships - go by. Heaven!

It's been a while since I visited this lovely area of Devon - am I right to think that the beach is still uninhabited??

Soo sad that someones mindless act of vandalism destroys something so well used and enjoyed ,hope your photo's can help restore them to their former glory .

Great shot bobby698 ~ Like.

I Like the beautiful and colored sands

Hi bobby698 I grew up just up the road and we used to spend lots of time on Meadfoot beach. Then it had a raft to swim out to, kayaks paddle & motor boats to hire and it was packed. also from the Cafe where you are stood we used to return the coke bottles 3p for each one, which we would collect off the holiday makers or Grockals as they are known down there. Tone

I came across this site by accident, I was looking for the folly - in wiki it says it might be demolished. in the late 70's i could see dinton folly from my window - i lived across the road in the lodge - lovely peaceful place except for the owls - the folly had one bellowing away most nights! that or the hippies that stayed there for a week! good memories! thanks so much for sharing your photos, all my pictures are gone now.
