Beautiful photo. The sign on the bottom left of the entrance suggests it belongs to a member of the Panas family. I am a Panas family member who now lives in the US but have traced my family back to the 1600's in Spartia, Caephalonia. Very cool to see the family is still there 400 + years later.
I have been fortunate enough to be able to visit TRNC on many occasions. The history of Cyprus since 1960 does not make very pleasant reading, my heart goes out to the Turkish population there. Turkey has been able to lend support to the TRNC and one sees the benefits of that all around the north, it is only too sad that the rest of the world failed to offer the same support.
The local film society in Southwold works incredibly hard to make sure that a visit to the cinema is a brilliant experience - delightfully built to bring the experience of the cinema in days gone bye - a visit to this 67 seat cinema is something to cherish

I'm sure that the local name is the "Pirn Bridge" after a pirn mill that was here.

Large parts of the movie "Captain Corelli's Mandolin" were filmed here.
A great spot to see Luxor from!
