Beautiful photo, capturing the diversity of vegetation and colour in this beautiful ravine. The name of the Ravine is 12 Mile Coulee, named for the distance from downtown Calgary to where the old Trans-Canada Highway (now 1A) crosses it.

Neither the United States nor British Columbia has much to be proud of the way they have managed ecologically sensitive areas along the international boundary.

This appears to be correctly placed, but the caption is in error, because this point is about 5 km west of Alberta, in British Columbia.

This picture belongs in Heritage Park in the SW of Calgary, on the east side of Glenmore Reservoir.

This photo looks like the area where it is placed on Google Earth, but the title is very misleading. This location is several hundred km from the Rockies, which are on the far eastern edge of British Columbia - this is near the western side of the large Province.
