It's obviously a Manitoulin stripe lion which is a cross bred between a lion, a tiger and a rock!
It has been repainted several times by who we don't know.
When we first saw it 30 years ago it was painted as a lion with only the mane stripes and the kids called it the lion rock. Five or so years ago we found it painted like this but the lion rock name stuck. So maybe he did come out of the closet.
Paul Laplante's conversations
This overexposed black & white photograph gives the impression that the island is on a voyage in space. I am definitely ready to navigate!
